The choice of Camera Helicopter and Pilot is important.

Its choice depends on the type of shot and where that shot takes place. So, the nearest helicopter to the shooting location isn't always the best move.

Mexico 350 (B1, B2, B3 and B3+)

AS 350 B2/B3

Its is not only powerful but comfortable to fly in, The B3 variant has incredible high altitude performance, essential for safe mountain flying. Combined with a modern camera system, this configuration is about as good as it gets.

AS 355 F1, F2, N and NP

The 355 is the twin engined version of the 350. It is used when over Built Up Areas (cities) and when flying long distances over water, In addition this is the machine we use for night flying.

Bell 206/206L

Whereas  the Bell 206L is a very usable helicopter at lower altitudes, The Bell 206 (Jet Ranger) is somewhat underpowered when being used with the more modern mounts such as Shotover and Cineflex, however it is still possible to get usable material if operated in light conditions and with an experienced pilot.

Bell 406 

Basically a Four bladed version of the Bell 206L. The Bell 406 has a bigger engine, better endurance and greater altitude performance than the 206L
